You know, the one thing that you don’t mention that I’ve seen anywhere are booby traps/signaling devices. With a limited number of personnel, you want to focus on those lanes of approach that someone may take. which means that other areas that aren’t likely to be used are going to get less attention. Yet, they are still there. So a quick down and dirty remedy is either a series of booby traps or at least a series of signaling devices.
If you’re in a static location, you want as much warning as possible of someone/something approaching. After all that’s the idea behind the LP/OP right?
