Posted on November 13 2023

Planning is essential. Basics are the same for everyone- water, food, shelter. After that you are going to need different skillets. Different locations, different needs.
Do you have kids? How old are they? Can they carry their own things? Can they perform any tasks,Do they or yourself need medications? Can you stock up on them? If so for how long.?
Are you in good shape or way over weight? What can you do on your own now? Are you learning more or still watching sports on TV and or celebrity reality TV or some other useless crap? Do you believe the government is going to save you and take care of you and yours? If so you probably will be among the first to die !! The more you do and the more you know the better your chances are to survive. But planning for a year or more out is best depending on where you live, how much you can afford and WHO is truly going to be at your side and have your back. Peace to all but all aren’t for peace !!

I prep forever. Whenever I use any of my preps for any reason I replace them with the same things, or if they or not available, alternatives. Hunt and fish for animal protein. Even if I have to find them somewhere else, harvest plant proteins from the wild, grow them in a garden or orchard. If metallic mine the ore, refine it, and produce usable forms of the material and then turn them into the products I need.

Prepping is an ongoing process. There have always been situation people had to deal with all the way back into the mists of time. And there will always be potential for things to happen in the future, that if one does not have at least the Basic Human Resource, then they will not survive.

    Just my opinion.
